It&#8217;s been a fast-paced couple years. In the fall of 2014 my daughter was born, and that has been the biggest improv adventure of all time. If improv\u00a0is about risk and vulnerability and being genuinely present, this baby is the ultimate object lesson.<\/p>\n<p>Around the same time that Kaya was born, I\u00a0did <a href=\"http:\/\/acrouch.com\/?page_id=1464\">a talk with Creative Mornings Austin<\/a> that kicked off a surprising string of improv speaking gigs. Between that and co-organizing the 2014 Applied Improvisation World Conference, corporate improv (training, team building and keynote speaking) has gone from being a minor part of my improv practice to the main thing that I&#8217;m spending my time and energy on right now.<\/p>\n<p>Recent clients include Whole Foods, National Instruments, the American Marketing Association, Deloitte, Facebook, Dell, Gartner, BCG and many more.<\/p>\n<p>And using the new skills from these experiences I&#8217;m working on a top secret project. He's the creator and co-director of the Hideout's Big Bash (every Friday at 8pm) and has over the last decade created sold-out shows at the Hideout such as <em>Fakespeare<\/em>, <em>Fandom: Improvised Fan Fiction in Your Favorite Worlds<\/em> and the award-winning <em>Live Nude Improv<\/em>.<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">He's an improv facilitator and has worked with dozens of companies in Central Texas. Learn more.<\/p><p>In the last couple years Andy has traveled to Greece to help build curriculum for the burgeoning improv scene there and organized the the wildly successful 2014 Applied Improvisation World Conference right here in Austin, Texas. His best friends are the people that he plays and works with every week\u00a0and he\u2019s married to a beautiful girl that he met through improv and has a new baby that demands constant improvisation.<\/p><p>What seemed scary and cool at first has turned out over the years to be endlessly intriguing and life-affirming.
